Daemon 9
- DAEMON 9 - A black ink and gray pencil drawing on an 11 x 14 size vellum paper. It is part of the "Daemon" series I started for "Fantastic Stories".
My text for the story appeared in white ink along the bottom of the illustration, which extended down to accommodate all the text:
"Aboard ship, Guardian has sensed the images that we have seen of the sacred cavern, and has alerted Gundar, my second in command to get the rest of the fighting men to the beach at once."
I started to have doubts about my finishing this story , FANTASTIC Stories was being published maybe six times a year, it would take several years for me to tell my tale at that pace and I seriously doubted that I would get that much time. It became difficult for me to continue spending so much time on the story, I regretted starting it.
